Cop accused of abduction and rape offered bail

A police sergeant accused of abducting and raping a 16-year-old girl in June was  offered $300,000 bail when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court last Friday.When the matter was called up, the court was told that 33-year-old Christopher Bennett who was stationed at the  Kingston Western Police Division offered the teenager a ride from the station and against her will took her to Palisadoes main road where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.
